Mod K23 Oven Door Hinges – Compression Spring System with Soft Motion

Product Overview

The Mod K23 oven door hinge is designed with a compression spring and integrated damper system to ensure smooth, controlled, and reliable oven door movement.

This soft motion oven door hinge system provides precise motion control, reduced impact, and quiet operation, making it ideal for modern oven applications requiring enhanced user experience.

Soft Motion & Damper-Controlled Movement

This hinge features a compression spring and damper combination that ensures smooth and controlled opening and closing (soft motion).

The integrated damper mechanism controls the closing speed, reducing impact and supporting stable and quiet operation. The movement characteristics can be precisely adjusted through spring and damper parameters.

Compression Spring System Advantage

The compression spring system allows high force generation within a compact space, making it suitable for applications with limited installation area.

This structure makes the compact oven door hinge highly efficient in delivering strong performance without increasing installation volume.

Continuous Motion & Optional Grill Position

The hinge is designed to provide continuous and uninterrupted motion throughout the opening and closing cycle, ensuring a smooth and consistent user experience.

At the same time, grill position functionality can be optionally integrated depending on application requirements. Through a specially designed cam-guided roller spring mechanism, the hinge can be configured to provide defined holding positions at specific opening angles while maintaining smooth motion characteristics.

This flexibility allows the hinge to support both continuous motion oven hinge applications and oven hinge with grill position requirements within the same system architecture.

Adjustable Torque & Motion Performance

The torque characteristics are managed through a cam-based mechanism, enabling balanced performance across the full range of motion.

The hinge system allows force and motion characteristics to be adjusted through spring and damper configuration, enabling adaptation to different door weights and application requirements.

Short Arm & Long Arm Configurations

Short arm versions are designed for vertical installation inside the door, supporting compact integration within the appliance structure.

Long arm versions eliminate the need for glass cut-outs on the door, providing both cost advantages and a cleaner door design. These configurations are typically integrated on the chassis and support stable load transfer.

Material & Surface Protection

The hinge body is manufactured from sheet metal and finished with Zn coating for corrosion resistance and long service life.

Assembly & Serviceability

The door connection system is based on a wedge-type mounting geometry combined with a locking mechanism, enabling practical assembly and service operations.

Low Noise & Consistent Performance

The product is designed for low-noise operation and supports consistent performance over its defined service life.
